The Lyon County Highway Department has announced two road closures.
Work begins Tuesday on a culvert along Road K-7, or Olpe Lake Road, south of Road 70. The goal is to replace the culvert by Friday. K-7 will be closed for the duration of the project.
Meanwhile, work started Monday on Road 200 between V and X. The Highway Department says the road and at least one nearby culvert need repairs for unlisted reasons. Road 200 will remain closed until further notice.
With these projects, residents are reminded to never drive around barricades because they are in place as a safety measure.
