Osage City fell in the 3A state title game to Silver Lake Saturday 60-44 at Hutchinson Sports Arena.
The Lady Indians made their first ever appearance in the championship game and never led in the contest. They were outscored 11-8 after one. Silver Lake used a 13-0 run in the second to grow their advantage to 26-14 at half. Osage City won the third 15-14 to head to the fourth down 11.
Jayla Jenkins had a team high 18 points. Emory Speece added 15. OC was just 4/19 from three and shot under 39% from the field.
The Lady Indians bring home the second place trophy and end the year 25-4.
