Emporia’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy earned a perfect record in Kansas City this past weekend.
The team took three competitors to the New Breeds Jiu-Jitsu tournament in KC Saturday, with all three earning gold medals. Trenton Carroll, who last month had a successful Amateur MMA debut for Shamrock FC, took the top position on the podium, winning all of his matches via submission.
Also unbeaten, earning all victories by points, was Ryan Anders. Joseph Monrroy earned a victory via submission and all others via points.
