Emporia Police officers conducted an investigation into a report of shots fired near a park Wednesday evening.
Sgt. Marcial Hernandez says officers received one call about possible gunfire in the 1900 block of Prairie before 10 pm. Officers investigated and found nothing to substantiate that report.
