Madison residents can now use their water without boiling it.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment rescinded a boil water advisory for the town Thursday, a week after it was announced. A water line was punctured as part of a box culvert replacement project.
Madison was in an advisory this past October after a water line was breached as part of a separate infrastructure project.
