Court processes are in the early stages for a man accused of aggravated kidnapping and other crimes.
Michael Baldridge was initially charged after an alleged incident involving an assault rifle Jan. 2. Besides kidnapping, Baldridge is facing single counts of aggravated battery — bodily harm with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault.
Rick Meier was appointed as defense attorney Friday.
A preliminary hearing is set for April 20.
