Longtime Emporia Mason Dave Hendricks is now leading the state organization.
On Saturday, Hendricks was installed as Grand Master of Masons for the state. Hendricks has over 30 years of leadership with the Masons, including his ongoing local role as lodge secretary since 2006 and prior role as Worshipful Master in 1998. Hendricks has served as a Grand Lodge officer in various capacities since 1999.
Hendricks is a second-generation Mason and has served as the Worthy Grand Patron of the Order of Eastern Star for Kansas in 2023-24. He is a member of the Arab Shrine and the Scottish and York Rites.
