A location change is coming for Emporia’s Bath & Body Works.
Store manager Peggy Stinson-Ziegler has posted the store is ending its time at Flinthills Mall after 25 years due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The final day of operations at the mall will be April 4, and shoppers are encouraged to bring coupons and reward points to use before the closure.
The end of the Bath & Body Works time at the mall means a move to Emporia Pavilions — although that new store immediately west of Hobby Lobby won’t be ready until next year. With the move, Bath & Body Works is following the same path Maurices took when it went from Flinthills Mall to Pavilions in 2024. The construction schedule has not been announced.
The mall has had several departures since January 2025, including Buckle, Bling and Claire’s. Gilded Fates opened at the mall last summer.
The Pavilions, meanwhile, is in the process of adding Ulta Beauty and PetSmart this spring. Opening dates are pending.
