Potential jury trial dates are scheduled in a Lyon County drug distribution case.
Following a pretrial hearing Thursday, Christopher Alexandro Diaz was set for trial to start as soon as May 18. Backup trial dates include June 1 and June 8. A final pretrial is now slated for May 13.
Also Thursday, Judge Lee Fowler approved a defense request to modify bond so Diaz can live outside of Lyon County. Diaz must sign a waiver of extradition and report to bond supervision as part of the new terms.
Diaz was charged last fall with distribution up to 100 grams of cocaine and using a cell phone to manufacture, distribute, cultivate or possess controlled substances after a warrant-based search in the 1100 block of State.
