Preliminary hearings are now on the docket in Chase County for three of four men accused earlier this year of various hunting violations.
After first appearances last week in Cottonwood Falls, Tyler Dickerson, Brody Harrison and Spencer Harshman have preliminary hearings May 1. Michael Bockman has his first appearance April 10 after a schedule conflict with defense attorney Chris Ambrose.
Regardless of the upcoming court date, all four men are accused of hunting without licenses, tags or permits; hunting in closed seasons; hunting from vehicles; wanton waste; illegal commercialization; and conspiracy at times between 2022 and 2024.
