Both the USD 251 North Lyon County and USD 252 Southern Lyon County school boards hasvetransfer availability as part of its agenda this week.
For USD 251, board members will officially discuss “nonresident student capacities” separately from upcoming events for current students like high school graduation and middle school graduation activities.
Separately, board members get the regular updates on capital outlay matters, finances and legislative items. An audit report from the Kansas State Department of Education will also be discussed. An executive session is also set on non-elected personnel.
The meeting starts at 6 pm at the board meeting room in Americus.
Meanwhile, the USD 252 board will have its transfer discussion ahead of roof bids for both Hartford and Olpe High along with concrete bids at Hartford. Other topics include the 2026-27 early childhood handbook, negotiations and an interlocal agreement.
