The Emporia State tennis team fell 6-1 to #13 Washburn at the Kossover Family Tennis Center on Saturday in Emporia. The Ichabods won two of three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Anton Sarunic won his match at #2 singles 6-4, 6-2, but ESU dropped the next four matches in a row. ESU (8-7, 2-1 MIAA) is back at home for a doubleheader as they host the Northwest Missouri Bearcats on Friday. The ladies will play first on Friday morning.
