Rain appears likely for the KVOE listening area Sunday, especially through lunchtime. Severe weather does not.
Officially, there is a marginal severe weather risk along and west of a line from near Alta Vista to near Emporia to near Gridley, with hail up to quarter size and gusts up to 60 mph as the main hazards. However, the National Weather Service says confidence is low in storm development by late afternoon, and even then storms may struggle to grow towards severe levels.
Most everybody in the KVOE listening area should see some rainfall before early afternoon, with close to half an inch expected by Sunday evening.

The marginal risk for Monday as mentioned the past few days has been removed. There is a slight risk areawide Tuesday, as well as another slight risk along and east of the Kansas Turnpike for Wednesday and a slight risk areawide Friday.
