Emporia’s Underground Utilities Department is handling a water line repair in south-central Emporia.
Crews started work in the 400 block of South Union before 7:45 am. The city says South Union will be closed to thru traffic from East Norton to East Potwin during repairs, and water service may be disrupted nearby.
This is a planned project, according to City Communications Manager Christine Torrens.
