Emporia High golf earned eighth on Wednesday at Village Greens Golf Course in Meridian.
Chesney Erkel was the low Spartan tied in 14th. Erkel ended at +6. Marley Harter shot +10 which placed him tied for 26th.
The Black and Red shot a team 344, two strokes from Washburn Rural for seventh.
EHS travels to Topeka Country Club on Monday.
