Registration remains open for Camp Alexander, but spots are quickly filling up as the summer season approaches.
The first camp session begins May 26, with multiple week-long sessions scheduled through July 31. Organizers say families still have time to enroll, but interest has been strong heading into the start date.
Camp Director Jen McKay joined the KVOE Morning Show on Wednesday and said campers can expect several new additions to the experience this year, including changes in leadership and programming.
McKay said the camp will continue to offer a variety of themed weeks designed to keep activities fresh and engaging for returning and new campers alike. One of those themes, she noted, has become so popular it will be offered three separate times throughout the summer schedule.
Campers can register for as little as one week or attend all nine sessions. The program is open to children ages 6 to 12, with a separate Youth Leadership Program available for ages 13 and 14.
Early bird pricing is available through Friday, with weekly sessions priced at $115. The Youth Leadership Program is offered at $75 per week.
