Lyon County Commissioners have approved an agreement for prevention and early intervention services through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
During their regular action meeting, commissioners approved signing the agreement that will see funds for the services provided by KDHE and passed through K-State Extension. Separately, commissioners approved the purchase of new parts for the Lyon County Highway Department’s motor grader from Foley Equipment for approximately $22,172.32.
Those funds will be paid through the county’s Road and Bridge fund for repair supplies. The purchase is needed due to the deterioration of the grader’s transmission.
County commissioners will reconvene for their regular meeting next Thursday at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
