The Lee Beran Recreation Center’s indoor pool has suddenly closed.
The Emporia Recreation Commission says the pump is not functioning and may need a rebuild. As a result, the natatorium is closed until further notice. All pool events are closed until the pool reopens.
It may be until late Thursday before Rec Commission officials have an estimate on how long it will take to repair the pump and resume events.
