Emporia Police say the runaway juvenile they were seeking Thursday has been located.
EPD put out a BOLO alert for 16-year-old Benjamin Jake Bowman Jr. Thursday afternoon after he reportedly ran away. Details as to Bowman’s whereabouts and condition upon his location have not been divulged.

Emporia Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a runaway juvenile.
EPD put out a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for 16-year-old Benjamin Jake Bowman Jr. Bowman Jr. is a caucasian male, approximately 6 feet tall, 150 lbs with hazel or brown/blonde hair.
He was last seen running northbound in an alley near 4th Avenue and Commercial Street wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and possibly a black beanie. Law enforcement says residents are not to approach him if they see him.
Instead, residents with information or sightings of Bowman Jr. are asked to call 620-343-4225 immediately.
