Emporia Fire dealt with two small fires Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters went to a massage parlor at 107 East 12th shortly after 5 pm, finding a fire on a handrail on the south side of the building. Firefighters used a water can to put the fire out.
A cause is currently undetermined.
Earlier in the day, firefighters went to the Finish Line gas station in the 2600 block of West 18th around 1:35 pm after a vehicle caught fire near the convenience store. Due to a quick response by Station 2, the vehicle was not totally destroyed. Fire damage was limited to the engine. A cause is under investigation.
No injuries were reported with either incident.
