Playoff brackets are set for area 3A and 2-1A baseball teams and first round games begin this week.
In Regional 2 in 2-1A, Southern Lyon County earned the four seed and will match up with Yates Center. Northern Heights draws top ranked Central Heights.
In the bottom of the bracket, Chase County earned the seven seed. They open at home with Marion.
MdCV and Lebo-Wavery open on road. The Trojans play at third-seeded Moundridge while the Wolfdogs head to Uniontown.
All 2-1A quarterfinal games are Thursday.
Council Grove earned the one seed in 3A Regional 3. The Braves host Herington to begin postseason play. The lone other 3A matchup will see 13 seed Osage City travel to Trinity Academy.
3A quarterfinals will be played on Wednesday.
