Lyon County’s annual Preparedness Fair is now less than a month away.
This year’s event will be at the Lyon County Fairgrounds on June 13. As usual, it’s designed to give residents valuable information about planning for — and surviving — emergencies of different impact levels.
Numerous booths will be occupied with information on several topics (pick 5 for on-air):

The Preparedness Fair is from 10 am to 2 pm. Newman Regional Health will have hot dogs available from 11 am to 1 pm. There will be a prize drawing at 1:30 pm. Potential vendors can call Lyon County Emergency Management at 620-341-3210 for information.
