Three members of the Emporia High baseball program earned recognition on the recently released 2026 All-Centennial League Baseball Team.
The Black and Red placed three on the all-league second team. Sophomore Oliver Kline joined juniors Micah Gray and Colton Eubanks for league honors.
In addition to the second-team selections, two Emporia seniors wrapped up their high school careers with postseason recognition. Grady Howe and Chase Harrington were both named to the honorable mention list for their contributions on the diamond this spring.
League champion Washburn Rural and Manhattan took home the top individual honors. Washburn Rural senior Aidan Newbery was named the Centennial League Player of the Year, while Manhattan sophomore McLain Aslin earned Newcomer of the Year honors. The Coach of the Year award was split, with Manhattan coach Don Hess and Washburn Rural coach Jay Mastin sharing Co-Coach of the Year honors.
Emporia wrapped up the regular season 12-12 (3-7). They take on Maize South Tuesday in Wichita at 2 p.m. to begin postseason play.
