This month’s meeting has a lot of items for the Emporia Recreation Commission Board to discuss and, in some cases, take action.
The action items Monday include the annual operation agreement between the Rec Commission and city of Emporia for the Jones Aquatic Center, as well as employee retention tax credits and a vehicle lease.
Updates include information on the Rec Center pool after a recent pump rebuild, damage assessment and repair items connected to storm activity last month after a dugout at the Flint Hills Optimist ballfields in Peter Pan Park had a roof dislodged, a recap of the April Steering Committee meeting and data from the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
The meeting starts at 5:30 pm at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
