Emporia’s Kensley Medrano signed her letter of intent to wrestle at Garden City Community College on Wednesday.
Medrano took gold her junior year at the 5A State Tournament and third this past year.
She initially wasn’t planning on continuing her wrestling career.
Her first passion is singing and she’s looking forward to doing more with it.
Medrano will be a part of the first year of women’s wrestling at Garden City CC as the Broncbusters make their debut in the fall of 2026.
