The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Lyndon man was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in southeast Kansas on Thursday.
Troopers say the crash happened on US Highway 54 about 5 miles west-northwest of Fort Scott shortly after 9:30 am. The investigation indicates 58-year-old Kurtis Pagles of Lyndon was driving a minivan eastbound on US-54 when he crossed the center line for unlisted reasons. The van hit a trailer’s rear axles for a westbound semi driven by 21-year-old Bravon Black of Joplin, Missouri.
Pagles suffered possible serious injuries and was taken to Freeman Fort Scott Hospital for treatment. Black was not hurt.
