Emporia Training Center fighters had a stellar showing in Kansas City Saturday.
ETC had four fighters on the evening’s card, including three amateurs who went 2-1 in their bouts. In his second outing, Pierce Moore won by knockout in 15 seconds, defeating Jacob Burch.
Moore is now 1-1 in his amateur career. Improving to 2-1 as an amateur was Trenton Carol, who defeated the debuting Jay McCaskill at 1:50 of round 2 by armbar submission. Emporia’s Shawn McIntosh would drop his debut bout by submission in round 1 due to a rear-naked choke.
At the professional level, Emporia’s Logan Blow improved to 3-0 with a first-round submission via triangle choke. Blow, who has fought all of his professional bouts for Shamrock, has finished all opponents in the first round via submission.
