A small, yet possible chance for severe storm potential is in place for the KVOE listening area Thursday night into Friday.
The National Weather Service has the entire KVOE listening area in a marginal severe weather risk; however, while confidence in storm development is high, it is “medium” for the chances of severe activity. That said, should storms develop anytime between the late afternoon and early evening hours, they could be capable of producing heavy rainfall, small hail and damaging winds.
The potential for a brief tornado or two cannot be entirely ruled out at this time. Stay with KVOE, KVOE.com and KVOE social media for more weather updates as they develop.
