Incidents allegedly connected to driving have led to a pair of arrests by Lyon County deputies.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested Kendall Baker on Sunday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and hallucinogenic drugs, as well as traffic offenses and criminal use of weapons — in this case, having a silencer attachment. Lyon County Undersheriff John Koelsch says the case apparently started with a hit-and-run.
Deputies then arrested Daniel Benitez early Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence, child endangerment and traffic offenses.
Koelsch says report information is pending with both cases. Formal charges are also pending.
