Emporia State men’s basketball coach Tom Billeter has hired Justin Tabor to join his staff for 2026-27. Tabor replaces Devin Whitelow who departed the program in April to join the staff at Northern Illinois. Tabor was an assistant last year at UMKC and was the Director of Player Development the previous three years for the Roos. Tabor was previously an assistant coach at Southeastern CC and also served time at Eastern Arizona and Coffeyville CC. Tabor was a student manager and GA at New Mexico State and was a part of five NCAA Tournament berths with the Aggies.
