The Madison Masonic Lodge is inviting the community to receive a free cancer screening this weekend.
The lodge, located at 308 West Ninth in Madison, will host the screening provided by KU courtesy of KU Medical Center, an entity the Masonic Foundation has had a long and proud partnership with for over five decades, according to Mason Greg Davis on KVOE’s Morning Show.
The screenings will be split between the lodge and KU Med’s mobile screening vehicle, with Saturday being the first time the vehicle has been on hand for an event in Madison, according to Davis.
Registration for the screenings will run from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday; however, screenings will take place beyond that time frame according to Davis.
Again, the screening event is completely free for the community, with Davis saying they will screen for all forms of cancer. Residents will need to note their specific concerns upon arrival in order to receive the proper screening.
