Emporia’s splash pad is closed until further notice.
The City of Emporia announced the closure of the pad at Peter Pan Park Monday. The reason for the closure is due to needed repairs.
The exact cause for the repairs and a timeline for said repairs have not been announced.
The city will provide updates via its official Facebook page.
