A pair of missing children have been located safely.
The police department announced Tuesday evening they had been searching for five-year-old Spencer Reynolds and six-year-old Prudence Reynolds since approximately 6:15 pm after they went missing from the 700 block of Riverview Circle. Nearly two hours after the original message went out, EPD announced both children had been located safe.
The whereabouts of the children upon their location and the reason for their disappearance have not been disclosed.
8:00 pm Tuesday: Emporia Police seeking assistance in locating missing children
The Emporia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing children.
According to a post on the official EPD Facebook page, five-year-old Spencer Reynolds and six-year-old Prudence Reynolds have been missing since 6:15 pm Tuesday. Spencer Reynolds is approximately 42 inches tall, 46 lbs and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Prudence Reynolds is approximately 42 inches tall and 56 lbs and was last seen wearing a purple/pink tie die shirt, with a blue skirt and black bell-bottoms. The children went missing from the 700 block of Riverview Circle.
