Thunderstorm chances return to the KVOE listening area later Tuesday, along with a low-end risk of severe weather.
Decent chances of storms begin by late afternoon and continue through the overnight hours. The main risk during that time period is wind gusts at or above 60 mph, but the risk level is marginal.
Storms could redevelop by the late afternoon and evening hours Wednesday, causing another marginal severe weather risk areawide along with a good chance of storms by mid-evening.
Storms on Thursday appear to be likely. There is a marginal-to-slight severe weather risk, with people along and south of a line from Bazaar to Olpe to LeRoy in the slight risk.
Moderate to occasionally heavy rain is possible. The National Weather Service’s Forecast Points information page indicates over 2 inches of rain between early Tuesday afternoon and early Friday morning.
