Head Emporia State women’s basketball coach MJ Baker has announced her second signing class for 2026. The Lady Hornets announced via Twitter this week that they have signed seven newcomers including two freshmen and five transfers. The freshmen are:
Valeria De La Fuente Arcala (Madrid) – forward, Madrid National Team: A 6-2 post player who helped lead her team to the Spanish Cadet Championship in 2024.
Sarah Yokley (Owasso, Okla.) – guard, Owasso High School: Third-Team All-District as a senior and selected to the Northeast Oklahoma All-Star Team, she led the Rams to the state semifinals as a junior.
ESU’s transfer signings include:
Kaelani Albert-Neha (Hamilton, New Zealand) – junior, point guard, Otero College (CO): Averaged 15 ppg, 7 rpg, and 5 apg last season for the Rattlers.
Jane Gallatly (Maffra, Australia) – junior, forward, CSU-Bakersfield: Played in 16 games off the bench for the Roadrunners and logged 18 points and 10 rebounds. She played 26 minutes as a freshman at Southern Miss and previously played in Australia’s National Basketball League 1 for the Melbourne Tigers.
Bianca Orianas (Santa Coloma de Queralt, Spain) – sophomore, guard, Trinidad State (CO): A 5-8 guard who averaged 15 ppg and 5 rpg as a freshman.
Isabella Pehrson (Mannford, Okla.) – junior, guard, Coffeyville CC: A 6-0 wing who played every game for the Red Ravens in 2025-26 and scored 9 ppg on a 23-9 team. She scored over 1500 career points at Mannford High School.
Regina Yanez Enriquez (Mexico City) – junior, center, Gardner-Webb: A 6-3 post who played in 13 games as a sophomore at Gardner-Webb in her second year with the program. Played prep ball at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts and has twice been named to the Mexican National Team.
Baker will begin her second season leading Lady Hornet Basketball in 2026-27. ESU finished 15-15 in 2025-26 falling in the quarterfinals of MIAA Tournament.
