Much better chances of rainfall are setting up for Thursday, with a marginal-to-slight severe weather risk for prospects of hail and wind.
Heavy rain is possible areawide, with anywhere from 1.5-3 inches of rain possible through Thursday night. Steamy conditions begin this weekend, with highs approaching 90 degrees Saturday and going into the low 90s early next week. Heat index readings will be between 100-105 from Saturday through at least Tuesday.
