The 2026 Denim and Diamonds gala fundraiser is coming up quickly, and residents will be able to secure their seats soon.
Tickets for the signature event will go on sale at midnight on Tuesday, priced at $100 per person. All proceeds from the event will once again go to support hospital operations, specifically the Newman surgical teams, according to Newman Event and Donor Coordinator Jelinda Waats.
Newman Marketing Specialist Saylor Middleton says the signature event will be coming off the heels of a very successful launch to Denim and Diamonds season, which included the annual golf tournament and BBQ lunch fundraiser last month.
This year’s Denim and Diamonds event will take place on Friday, August 7th inside the Emporia State University Memorial Union. The evening’s schedule will include dinner, a live and silent auction and live music from country music artist Frankie Ballard.
Waats says a lot of people are extremely excited to welcome Ballard to the event.
