Emporia City Commissioners will be reviewing a pair of documents related to large-volume water and wastewater use when they convene for their regular meeting slate Wednesday.
Commissioners will first discuss a large-volume wastewater policy as part of their study agenda before receiving an update on the proposed large-volume water user policy first discussed on June 17th. Additional discussions will include conversations on the 2026-27 budget, a CIP budget review, engineering fees and the commission’s regular meeting on July 15th.
These matters will come before commissioners during their regular study session inside the Evora Wheeler Conference Room in White Auditorium. The study session will follow the commission’s action meeting, which will include consideration and potential approval of appointments to various city boards, the purchase of a 2026 utility work truck for underground utilities and a permanent sanitary sewer easement for Cedarbrook Meadows.
The meetings will begin at 11 am inside the White Auditorium Municipal Courtroom.
