The Emporia Recreation Commission Board will be busy Monday.
Board members will have their annual Closing of the Books to end fiscal affairs for the 2025-26 operations.
Immediately following will be the regular board meeting, which will have several financial matters to address — including, in order: resolution of a Blue Cross Blue Shield Youth Activity Pathway grant, an update on the return of federal tax credits to the Internal Revenue Service, the overall 2026-27 budget and 2025-26 RecXtra numbers and financials. The 26-27 budget may well be approved for publication purposes later in the meeting.
The meeting slate begins at 5:30 pm at Lee Beran Rec Center.
