A decision on formal charges is ahead after Lyon County deputies arrested a person wanted in Ohio.
Lyon County Corporal Brandon Early tells KVOE News the Kansas Highway Patrol alerted deputies to a vehicle flagged as connected to somebody with unspecified warrants. That notice was issued shortly after 6:10 pm. Less than 5 minutes later, a deputy saw the vehicle in question. The deputy and a trooper then handled a traffic stop and arrested the driver, listed as Siarhei Rudz, on suspicion of felony assault and strangulation in Warren County, Ohio.
