It appears temporary operations at Emporia’s Department of Motor Vehicles office will continue next week.
Flinthills Mall Manager Clarence Frye says he has been advised the current schedule, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday, is on again next week. The schedule also includes a 30-minute lunch around noon.
This would be the third straight week of temporary hours after the Kansas Department of Revenue’s office manager suddenly quit after serving as the location’s only employee for around 2 weeks.
