Cyclosporiasis cases are up across Kansas.
Cases went from nearly 300 since the end of May to 461 in Wednesday’s report from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Of those cases, 20 have resulted in hospitalizations. Nearly 200 cases are awaiting interviews and additional investigation.
For area counties, Lyon County remains in the 1-5 case category for the third straight week. Coffey and Wabaunsee counties are also at 1-5 cases. Osage County now has 10 confirmed cases. Chase, Greenwood and Morris counties currently have no cases.
