The Loretto Langley Kids Area has a new name, as Lyon County History Center Director Lisa Soller unveiled on KVOE’s Morning Show on Wednesday:
Several names were under consideration by the public. History Hollow and Sunflower Junction were the two other finalists. Nearly 60 votes were cast.
Soller says this reflects a longstanding partnership between the History Center and the Loretto Langley Trust. — just part of which involves the move from the old Carnegie Library to the location at 711 Commercial 10 years ago.
Soller says Langley was a well-known teacher.
Soller says new signage and new equipment is coming to Kidville Crossing over the coming weeks.
