Reports and requests are ahead for the Lyon County Commission as part of the board’s weekly action meeting Thursday.
Following the quarterly report from CareArc, commissioners will get two requests from County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield — one to buy steel plate and a used tank car at over $33,000 from The Railroad Yard to recycle into culverts and another to by 10 grader tires from Kansas Land Tire at a cost of over $12,500. County Controller Dan Williams will also present a nearly $5,800 invoice to Midland Fence to provide and install a gate in an existing fence.
Commission and staff reports are also planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers and follows Wednesday’s study meeting focused on updating and revising the 2027 budget.
