Showers brought light rain to the KVOE listening area Tuesday, and that trend could continue Wednesday.
The KVOE studios got 0.10 inches of rainfall Tuesday, while the Emporia Municipal Airport got 0.14 inches. Other totals:

Occasional showers and embedded storms are possible through late Wednesday afternoon, with showers and storms possibly returning from early Thursday morning through lunchtime. Additional showers and storms are possible Thursday night into Friday morning, with a marginal severe weather risk for wind in the late-night hours.
Dry conditions follow into at least the middle of next week, and upcoming rain projections indicate up to half an inch from Wednesday through Friday.
