Jason Lee Hill has been pleading his innocence in a Lyon County rape and aggravated criminal sodomy case dating back to fall 2024. The jury did not see the case the same way.
After three days of testimony and nearly a day of deliberations, the jury found Hill guilty on both counts Thursday.
Hill was convicted of illegal sexual activity with an adult after an incident in late September 2024. Hill had argued lab analysis of a sexual assault nurse examiner kit, completed 3 months after the alleged incident, was inconclusive. Hill had also said family members questioned the legitimacy of the victim’s statements regarding this case after unrelated conversations. Judge Jeff Larson denied the motion in November 2025.
Sentencing is at 10 am Sept 23.
