Emporia High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Beau Welch has been named the 2026 5A Girls Wrestling Administrator of the Year by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association.
The award recognizes administrators who have supported the growth and success of high school wrestling programs. Recipients are nominated by wrestling coaches from across Kansas and selected by the KWCA Board.
Welch was recognized for his continued support of girls wrestling and high school athletics at Emporia High School.
