A Missouri woman was hurt in a crash in southeast Chase County on Thursday.
The crash happened on the Kansas Turnpike at mile marker 108 northbound, nearly 20 miles southwest of Emporia, at around 2:30 pm. The Kansas Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 57-year-old Jill Fine of Saint Charles went off the highway for unlisted reasons. It went up an embankment and through a gully before stopping in a field.
Fine was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries.
