Northern Heights is looking to take another step forward this season after finishing 3-6 in 2025.
Peyton Heins enters his fifth year leading the Wildcats, continuing to build a culture at his alma mater.
Senior Cooper Woodrow leads the list of returners for Northern Heights. Woodrow has been leading the offense since his freshman year and will once again be a key piece for the Wildcats.
Woodrow will also see time in the secondary, where he’ll be counted on to make plays on defense.
Another player Heins will rely heavily on is junior Henry Sheeley. Sheeley will start at running back while also playing an important role on defense.
Northern Heights is projected to have just 12 players on the roster, making health and depth especially important throughout the season. Heins knows keeping everyone healthy could be a challenge as the year goes on.
The Wildcats open the season at home on September 4, when Northern Heights welcomes Burlingame to town.
