US Senate candidate Adam Hamilton stopped briefly to meet with potential constituents as part of a campaign stop in Emporia on Thursday.
Hamilton is hoping to unseat Republican Senator Roger Marshall, and he says he’s running to reduce chaos — which he says is in place, regardless of the federal program.
Hamilton says recent politics have been head-scratching.
Hamilton is also basing his campaign on the theme of “Leading from the Middle.” He says a more centrist approach will get people away from focusing on fringe issues.
Marshall is seeking his second term in the Senate after serving 2 terms in the US House of Representatives.
